The Commercial Real Estate Transactions Analyst at Property Reserve, Inc. supports transaction managers by analyzing the merits and/or risks of potential investment real estate acquisitions by generating Argus and Excel financial models, conducting market research and analysis, and completing portfolio analytics.  Portfolios include multi-family, single-family, office, and industrial investment real estate. Assigned markets will include major metros in the United States.

Analysts in this position will be exposed to institutional strategy, research, investment, and asset management activities as well as access to industry-leading market participants. 


  • Perform financial review of each potential investment acquisition, including gathering financial statements, understanding income and expense reports, and developing and supporting derived investment returns
  • Utilize Argus and Excel to generate financial models for analysis of potential real estate acquisitions
  • Conduct detailed research focused on the core markets to determine rental rates, cap rates, market absorption, transaction activity, construction trends, population growth, job growth, and industry concentration
  • Coordinate, compile, review and summarize property-related due diligence materials. Work with advisors, brokers, and principals on issues related to asset due diligence. Coordinate with appraisers and other due diligence vendors as required
  • Create reports and presentations to visually assist in determining overall portfolio performance, including working closely with the on-site teams and in-house managers to coordinate capital projects and leasing activity on a monthly basis
  • Support broader team and contribute to strategic projects
  • Contribute to the improvement of existing processes and promote the adoption of best practices as related to the above duties and responsibilities
  • Perform other essential duties as assigned


  • Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, statistics, ore related field
  • 0-3 years of commercial real estate finance experience
  • Accuracy and attention to detail--fastidious
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • High level of proficiency in Excel and Argus Enterprise; can be Argus certified post-hire
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interface with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and execute a wide range of assignments
  • Ability to prioritize assignments to meet numerous deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to solve challenges without direct oversight
  • Strong work ethic, an entrepreneurial spirit; passion for excellence and desire to learn
