The Real Estate Asset Management Analyst is responsible for financial and data analysis to support a growing investment portfolio while helping the preservation of asset value for the assets held globally.

Analysts will work on multiple projects supporting all aspects of the investment process, utilizing a range of skills. Analysts will interact with professionals across multiple functions, including the Transactions, Asset Management, Land, and Finance teams, and will also work with global teams related to third-party advisory work and private REIT sponsors.

Analysts in this position will be exposed to institutional strategy, research, investment, and asset management activities as well as access to industry-leading market participants globally.


  • Conduct detailed research focused on specific markets globally to determine change in rental rates, cap rates, market absorption, transaction activity, construction trends, population growth, job growth and industry concentration
  • Analyze investment opportunities through market research, in depth financial analysis, and complex financial modelling
  • Responsible for performing analysis of maintenance cycles and expenses, efficient use of space, capital expenditures, trends in tenant needs, etc.
  • Perform financial review of each asset to monitor performance and efficiency including gathering financial statements, understanding income and expense reports, and developing and supporting management activities
  • Create reports and presentations to visually capture overall and individual asset performance
  • Work closely with asset managers to coordinate capital projects and leasing activity on a monthly basis
  • Work in Argus and Yardi on a daily basis
  • Draft quarterly reporting documents for senior management and investment committees
  • Support broader team and contribute to strategic projects
  • Contribute to the improvement of existing processes and promote the adoption of best practices as related to the above duties and responsibilities
  • Perform other essential duties as assigned


  • Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or related field
  • 1-2 years of commercial real estate finance experience
  • Good understanding of accounting and experience in financial analysis and modelling with advanced Excel skills
  • Strong technical ability to learn and become certified in Argus
  • Ability to understand financial statements and market analyses
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and execute a wide range of assignments
  • Strong work ethic, an entrepreneurial spirit; passion for excellence and desire to learn
  • Keen interest in real estate and financial markets
